Fill in a few contact fields and get a ready-to-import vCard (.vcf) — built in your browser.
Your browser is preparing the tool. It runs 100% locally.
The vCard Generator turns a few fields — name, phone, email, and optionally company and website — into a vCard 3.0 file (.vcf) that imports into most contacts apps. It writes the formatted name, phone and email, adding company and website when you fill them. It updates live as you type and runs entirely in your browser, so your details are never uploaded.
It creates a digital business card in the standard vCard format that phones and email clients recognise. You type the fields, then copy the vCard text or download the .vcf file.
It produces a single contact card with the common fields, ready to share or to drop into a QR code.
It wraps your fields in the vCard structure — a BEGIN line, a version line, one line per field, then an END line — and updates the preview as you type.
The result is plain text in the .vcf format, which you can copy or download and open in any contacts app.
BEGIN:VCARD
VERSION:3.0
FN: full name TEL: phone EMAIL: email
ORG and URL added only when filled · END:VCARDAlex Doe with phone +1 555 0100 and an email → a vCard 3.0 .vcf carrying FN, TEL and EMAILIt writes vCard 3.0 (RFC 2426). The fields it includes are FN, TEL and EMAIL, plus ORG and URL when you provide them.
Your contact details are turned into a vCard entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded, stored or logged.
There is no account or history; closing the tab clears the fields.
| Format | vCard 3.0 (.vcf) |
|---|---|
| Fields | FN, TEL, EMAIL, optional ORG and URL |
| Contacts | One per card |
| Output | Copy the text or download .vcf |
| Updates | Live, as you type |
| Processing | 100% in-browser |
It writes five fields only: the formatted name (FN), phone (TEL) and email (EMAIL), plus company (ORG) and website (URL) when filled.
It does not add a structured name (N), a postal address (ADR), a photo, or multiple phone or email entries — it is a single, simple contact card.
It uses plain line breaks rather than the spec's CRLF and does not escape commas, semicolons or backslashes in values, so a value containing those characters could confuse a strict reader.
Most contacts apps — on iOS, Android, Google Contacts and Outlook — import the result without trouble.
Attach a .vcf so recipients can save your details in one tap.
Paste the vCard text into a QR code so a phone camera can add the contact.
Send a .vcf instead of typing your number and email into a message.
Hand out a ready-made contact card for a booth or meetup.
For a contact QR code, paste this vCard into the QR Code Generator. For many contacts at once, export a vCard list from your address book.
Documented against this tool's own code: it wraps your fields in a vCard 3.0 block (FN, TEL, EMAIL, plus ORG and URL when filled) — so the page is clear it writes a single simple card without a structured name, address or photo.
